Packers needed to help with large moving job for New York Charter School in East Harlem. Job dates begin 6/29 and will run for 1-2 Days. Pay is $18 HR for full day (8hrs) but need to start immediately (Tomorrow) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Lift, carry, and load furniture weighing up to 15-100 pounds, onto box trucks for transport to and from school locations, including up and down stairs. • Deliver tables, chairs, sofas, desk and other school items. • Provide problem-solving solutions when necessary. • Pack and unpack items in an organized and efficient manner at discretion of foreman. Qualifications: • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required. • Physical ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds on a regular basis and operate moving equipment. • Ability to work independently and/or with a team, exercise good judgment and sound decision-making required.
