Rural Action has partnered with the Athens Asian American Alliance and Community Food Initiatives to present a workshop on growing Asian vegetables. This hands on workshop on gardening will be preceded by a tasting where you can learn about preparing these delicious and unique plants! Food and drink available will include: Green, Siberian, and Coreopsis tea. Winter melon chicken soup, Japanese cucumber salad with wakame seaweed, hot and sour napa cabbage, Chinese long beans fried with tomatoes, scallion fried luffa, garlic chive pancakes, and taro coconut tapioca dessert.
