After two years of countless volunteer hours, fundraising, and pure community love, the Town of Washington is celebrating completion and dedication of Ethel Park, our beautiful new community pocket park. Please join us Friday evening at Wolff Banquet Hall for a celebration and the following Saturday morning for the official dedication and ribbon cutting. Proceeds from the dedication celebration will be used for ongoing maintenance of Ethel Park. The Town of Washington thanks Joe and Gabriele Kavanaugh, Jourdan Thibodeaux, the Realtor Association of Acadiana, Atchafalaya National Heritage Area, Latter & Blum Great Pumpkin Grant, Williams Corporation, Acadiana Native Plant Society, and the many other donors and volunteers who made Ethel Park even better than we envisioned.
