Featuring a panel of members from each of the three sections alongside successful families that have benefited from local resources, this discussion centers on how our network of human service organizations, funders, and providers can better partner with parents and kids to achieve stability and prosperity for our local families.
Break Out Sessions feature:
Derek Hopper, Rachel Lambert, Jenny Patrick and Nash Dunn from KCARC will share critical insights and guidance regarding Pre-Employment Transition Services, PreETS programing, and advocacy for children in need of services.
Holly Hillenbrand from Family Recovery Court (FRC) will share about this key voluntary program that operates through Knox County Superior Court I with Judge Gara Lee. Designed to assist families whose child(ren) are involved with the Department of Child Services (DCS) through a Child in Need of Services (CHINS) achieve lasting sobriety , FRC helps parents by providing family-centered and support services that promote recovery and encourage healthy lifestyle choices.
