As we stroll/discover/honor/share amongst the plants & trees, come learn how to spot common local edible & medicinal plants - and about their uses! We will gather at the basketball courts, located right past the Kedzie & Marquette Rd. (67th st) entrance. 😷☝🏾Yes #WeOutside but please be mindful of yourself and others. #MaskUp & keep that #6Feet babes. 🖤 Wear comfy shoes and bring water & a snack! 🖤 A journal, bug spray, and sunscreen are helpful suggestions as well. 🖤🌈 BIPOC (Black & Indigenous People of Color) to the front! TGNC (Trans & Gender Non-Conforming) folks to the front! Earth stewardship is our birthright and Ancestral responsibility. These walks are curated with that in mind, and to facilitate organic (pun intended) community.
