A Project Lifesaver Certified Search and Rescue Training program. Developed to train law enforcement and search and rescue organizations in the use of electronic tracking equipment in conjunction with an established proactive profile and monitoring program, to locate missing persons suffering from dementia, or to locate children with Autism and persons with Down Syndrome.
Students learn the complete Project Lifesaver Program, Classroom instruction by certified instructors in understanding Alzheimer’s disease, learning how to track wandering victims using state of the art electronic tracking receivers and counseling of caregivers in Emergency search procedures. Instruction also includes active field search exercises, advanced search exercises and mobile tracking. A written test and a proactive test are administered to certify a student in the Project Lifesaver Program.
