I heard the warning to turn back when we were relocating to New Orleans and I crossed the highway median in the big Uhaul truck and came back to California. Not soon after that Hurricane Katrina hit. I learned too many times growing up to listen to “Thaaat Voice!” I worked the psychic phone lines and had people disrespect me and ridicule me until I told them things that only they knew! What is worse for me is having to inform my best friend that her life was in danger and she’d be killed. She didn’t listen and scoffed at moving and stayed.
