Classic Volkswagen Day at the Museum

Our club will be showcasing cars from our member's collection at the front rotunda circle of the museum, while the meet will be held mainly at the Ground Floor Level parking lot. This is a non-award show, but a wholesome family event of meeting other Volkswagen enthusiasts from around the Bay Area; and also your chance to visit a museum with an amazing world-class car collection! All VW clubs are welcome to participate, however there's a few basic rules applies: No revving, no doughnuts, no drag racing. Respect the museum and their staff, other businesses and surrounding residences. At the parking lot, umbrellas to be secured and chairs are acceptable, but no canopies allowed due to occasional high winds. Canopies attached to buses are allowed. This is a free event to attend and you'll only need 1 ticket per vehicle, however this ticket is NOT applicable to the museum's entrance. It's only for tracking purposes in order to limit the number of attendees. However, we do encourage you to visit the museum. They offer group tours and special rates. Cruises before or after the show are highly encouraged, but each club may organize these runs. There's a lot of twisty roads in the area to explore and are great for cruising like Crow Canyon Road, Tassajara Road, etc. If you're local and up to have some fun meeting the Bay Area Volkswagen Community, please come and join us and have a good time meeting others who share the same passion for Volkswagens.
