Seeking lead guitarist for funky psychedelic rock band

Our band, Low Tide, is looking for a new lead guitarist. We play original funky psychedelic rock music, and recently finished recording our first album. It's not released yet officially, but we can share the music if you are a good fit. Next steps for us are gearing up for our album drop, playing an album release gig, working on new material, and gigging locally. You are a good fit if you: - are a skilled, passionate and creative player, well-versed in Zeppelin and Floyd as well as Parliament Funkadelic, but you have your own voice and love to improvise when the chemistry is good - can read music and charts, and memorize easily too - are comfortable with lots of chord changes and sometimes key changes, able to play polyrhythms, bust a killer solo - like to work collaboratively in songwriting, creating guitar parts that elevate the song to a new level - are able and willing to commit to weekly rehearsals (in Berkeley), and adequate practice time outside of rehearsals to master the material - love blues-based and psychedelic rock, and old-school funk, but have a wide and developed range of musical taste - love the magic of the musical conversation that takes place when the chemistry between players is right - want to play for the love of music Please contact if interested, and tell us about yourself!
