The Istanbul Center & Atlantic Institute are hosting a “Meet the Candidate” event on July 20, 2022. We have invited candidates who are running for Jacksonville Sheriff in August 2022. Most of them have already confirmed participation. Our goal is to have candidates and the community to interact with each other. This way we get to know the candidates and they listen to the diversity of voices within our community. Tentative program 6:30 pm - Welcome & Brief info about the center and its activities 6:40 pm - Introduction of Candidates and short speeches 7:40 pm - Community Questions & Answers 8:10 pm - End of Program Refreshments will be served.
