Forest Therapy, also known as Forest Bathing or Shinrin Yoku, originated in Japan and is the practice of enjoying nature at a slower pace.
Forest Therapy has been proven through research to lower stress and moderate blood pressure as indicated through amylase, a stress indicator found in the saliva. These stress-lowering effects can last up to a week after the session.
Please join us for these introductory Forest Therapy sessions with a variety of themes that are open and free to the public!
