Have you heard about Indiana's ALL new school choice program? It’s called the Education Scholarship Account Program, or ESA for short. For the first time both schools and families can partner together in unprecedented ways to deliver the best education possible for ESA students. Indiana is proud to add the ESA Program to its array of top-level school choice programs. The ESA gives Hoosier students who require special education the opportunity to truly customize their K-12 education. Unlike other school choice programs, the ESA allows students to spend their state tuition support dollars on an array of items such as tuition and fees, tutoring, transportation, speech therapy, physical therapy, and so much more! To help us launch Indiana's newest choice program, schools around the state have joined us by serving as "ESA Founding Schools." We are honored to be collaborating with outstanding administrators and educators who serve as trailblazers in communities across the state. And for the inaugural groups of families and students who participate in the ESA, they will serve as the "ESA Founding Families." As a Founding Family, you will always have resources and a guide to help assist you throughout your participation. The possibilities are endless, what you can do for your child is up to you! When it comes to a quality education, parents across the state must battle barrier after barrier. But when you become an ESA Founding Family, challenges become less challenging. So, join us! We are calling it the "Lead the Way Day," an event designed to celebrate and assist you in the ESA application process. This is an open house style event so come at any time during the celebration hours (student application process usually takes less than 20 min).
