Velvet is a 1YO AKC Golden Retriever in need of a loving home. She is a total sweetheart. Velvet is about 45lb and full grown - so for a golden she is very petite. She is well socialized with other dogs, and goes to doggy daycare daily. We have a small child, and Velvet is very gentle and attentive with them. She has a bit of a nervous temperament that doesn't fit our family's lifestyle. She has been to general obedience training for recall etc, but we haven't had the time time she needs to spend working with her ourselves. Velvet would be a great companion for someone looking for a younger dog, without the headache of a puppy.
