I'm in search of a set of strings for my steel string dreadnaught, I've been having a rough time finding some for some reason there's no music stores within a reasonable walking distance and I'm just passing through I've used and repaired all of my excess old strings and I'm literally aggravated and can't calm down because my therapeutic device is broken and keeps breaking, I need a pair of light gauge strings. Looking to form an alternative rock band with influences like Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana etc. to name a few. I play guitar and do lead vocals, ideally looking for another guitarist, bass and drums. Looking to practice about once a week and play as many shows as possible. I'm pretty laid back but serious about music. Ideally looking for people around the ages of 21 - 35. If you're interested hit me up and I can send you some demos. Looking for a lead guitarist to complete our lineup. We have a very talented female singer who also can play rhythm guitar, bass player and drummer. Singer and drummer are in their early 20’s, bass player is almost 40We have 2 females left!! Bassist, Singer, and Lead Guitarist are needed to complete lineup for local band Outta Nowhere. We practice once every other Saturday in Halifax. We play cover songs from the 70s-90s and some modern stuff. We cover bands like STP, Bush, Billy Idol, Billy Joel, Weezer, Kiss, Flock of Seagulls, Loverboy, Black Crowes etc… We plan on gigging once we get enough songs down. We are seeking motivated people so serious inquiries only please. Mirror Image is a progressive rock group looking for a drummer and bass player who are serious about their craft. We look to practice once a week and gig once or twice month. We have a practice space, as well as a PA system. All we need is YOU! Our onfluences include, but are not limited to: Pink Floyd, Yes, Jethro Tull, Gentle Giant, Frank Zappa, The Beatles, Styx and Camel. We are experienced, professional musicians raging from our 20's to 50's. We will be performing 1-3 times per month (Quality vs Quantity shows) at fairs/festivals, theaters, music halls, casinos and private events (no bars).
