Hello and welcome to Lobsterboys, we are The Crustacean Authority. We partner with the fishermen in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Quebec to buy direct from their boats, enabling us to deliver lobsters unlike any you’ve ever seen or tasted before.
Lobsterboys’ operations is rapidly growing. As a result of this expansion, we are looking forward to building out our Lobsterboys team in Huntington, New York.
We are actively recruiting for Warehouse Associates for evening shifts, and weekends. A great job for someone looking for seasonal work or a long-term opportunity to grow with a company that is investing in their business.
Pay is weekly at $22.00 per hour, overtime over 40 hours per week.
Recruiting for the third shift: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. 7-8 pm start.
Main Job Responsibilities:
• Process, pack, and ship orders accurately
• Maintain inventory of products; receive and count as needed
• Inspect live lobsters for damage/quality
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures
• Ability to lift to 100#; note that most anything over 50# is a team lift, nevertheless, this job is physical in nature
• Ability to maintain a schedule and be reliable; work overtime as needed
• Able to communicate and treat other employees, customers, and the public with respect
• Ability to tolerate colder temperatures and tolerate standing for long periods of time for warehouse work
• Ability to tolerate packing and handling live seafood
