I am in need of someone to cover my newspaper route for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette delivery in the Fort Smith - Alma area. I only need someone to cover my route on the morning of Sunday, July 3rd, as I am going out of town. All you need is a car, Google Maps, and the time to do it. Instructions, directions, and supplies are all provided. It is an early morning job, but the compensation is good. I will pay you $250 total, all cash. $100 will be given ahead of time to cover gas, alongside the directions and necessary supplies. I will give you the remaining $150 when I have the opportunity to check and see if the job was completed well, which I will be able to do on the following Sunday, July 10th. In other words, as long I do not see a large amount of complaints that someone did not get their paper that week, I will be paying you $250 for about 3-5 hours of work. The papers are dropped off at about 1:00am in a parking garage, and the route needs to be completed by 7:00am at the latest, but if you start at 1:00, it will not take nearly that long. The route is 49 stops. 10 of them are businesses and 39 are residential. The driving takes me about 2 - 2 1/2 hours and is about 100 miles long. You will need to "pack" the newspapers before the driving begins, which takes me about an hour. Packing the newspapers is just putting them in the right order (there are 3 parts) and putting 39 of them in a plastic bag each, which will be provided by me. The papers going to the businesses do not need to be put in bags, they just need to be stacked together in the right amount, because there will be multiple papers going to the same place (5 at this Walgreens, 15 at Walmart, etc.) All you have to do for those is put them in front of the door.
