Project Manager (PM)
Job Summary
The individual will oversee and direct various drywall construction projects with a wide variety of values. Will assume responsibility of project including interface with client, supervision of field foreman and crew. Ability to manage a high volume of projects in different stages.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide strong leadership and guidance to field foreman's and employees.
Develop and maintain positive working relationship with clients.
Review and approve purchase/orders for each project.
Coordinate work crews to ensure proper coverage of field employees on each project.
Ability to work through conflicts with clients and/or employees.
Review, prepare and correct monthly billing reports.
Ability to complete take-offs from drawings.
Assist in hiring procedures for field employees.
Maintain project contract documents including submittal's and change orders.
Process, approve and code invoices.
Process field employee timecards weekly.
Ensure that all company issued safety protocol and OSHA required safety rules are followed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Five (5) years’ experience in the role of a Project Manager, preferably in the commercial drywall field.
Strong verbal and written communications skills a must.
Ability to identify and resolve issues.
Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office - including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience in working with construction software including Foundation, OST and Quick Bid.
Bachelor's Degree a plus, but not required.
Dedicated team-player.
