The most sobriety I ever had was 9+ years... today I have 2 and a half years... I lost everything a couple of times and I lost friends and opportunities... etc. Life today is not as easy as it was 20-30 years ago but it's much easier while being sober. I hope for those of you who are drinking today and have had a problem with drinking will find the strength to stop.
