Description

Hello, I wish this was under better circumstances but I have an axolotl that I feel could have a better life with a more experienced owner. We took her (we assume her) in when a friend was going through stuff and needed mochi rehomed. We assumed we knew enough and did our research but things aren’t the best for us either and even with our efforts we have not been able to cycle the big tank correctly and I know there is someone out there in the Seattle area that can give Mochi the life they deserve. In response we hope to hear about your experience with exotic pets, a food plan that’s viable other then only dried pellets, what equipment you have or would need, and you will need to be able to transport mochi home safely. The good and bad… We think she might have a slight fungus infection right now so we are giving her a tea bath today, and when changing out her water today we realized that there were some sort of work or large in her water so we are also dealing with that. We will be doing a full flush after the tea bath. This was the final straw in deciding that a pro needs to be the one taking care of her. As far as rehoming fee, we are not SELLING out axolotl. We are desperately just looking to find a better home. Thank you very much! If you feel like you can be a good parent, have done the study and research and have some cycling experience, please still reach out! Exotic, axolotl, rescue, aquarium.
