Description

please email me with any questions you have! we took in a female rescue dog last year but have recently had to downsize our housing and are no longer able to properly care for her. she is fixed and approximately 50 pounds. she is up to date on all her shots except one. she is very prone to ear infections ( main reason we decided to let her go) and currently has severe scabbing all along the outside of her ears (due to her scratching) she is a very sweet dog but there are some things to know beforehand - she is VERY afraid of males at first but with patience and love she gets over her initial fear (: - please do not expect her to be like a "normal" dog, she comes from a very abused background and needs your understanding - she is full of energy and loves playing outside so please keep this in mind - shes very anxious around new people - she is potty trained and will go outside to do her business - when we first got her she felt safer sleeping in a kennel but nowadays she sleeps without one - she is a very shy dog so like with any rescue you're going to have to be patient before she fully trusts you - she is always going to be more scared of you than you are of her - she LOVES other dogs and has the gentlest heart - i would've loved to have kept her but she needs someone with the money and time to properly care for her like i said before she does have some intense itching on the outside of her ears that has been going on for about 2 weeks, im reaching out for help because she deserves a stable home and we just aren't able to provide her with one anymore. due to her very specific needs im hoping to find the right one for her because she truly does deserve it after everything shes been through
