Crew to cut down tree limbs

We have 2 trees that need major trimming. The first one (on street) was just trimmed by the city as some branches fell and took down an electrical line. We would like to cut all the branches down so it doesn’t pose a threat (tree is basically dead but we don’t have budget to remove it.) Second tree is much taller and one of the trunks we would like cut as well as any branches going over our garage. The neighbors would like to keep the tree alive and keep the branches that extend into their yard. I don’t know if this will kill or hurt the tree so I’m open to suggestion- the neighbors are also open to taking all the major branches down. I’ve marked up the photos so you can get an idea of how much labor it is. Our time frame is open but we would prefer to get the really tall tree done on July 2nd anytime after 10am through Sunday July 3rd (morning-mid afternoon).
