Male American pit bull terrier. 1 yr old. Will be 2 11/29/22 Not fixed Utd on shots via tractor supply vax. Needs rabies renewed 7/22/22 Please know about the breed prior to thinking about him. He’s 1. We got embark yesterday to determine breed and he’s purebred American pit bull terrier. He is a skittish dog! Good with cats and CALM dogs. He’s great when he warms up, but due to our very active lifestyle, he does not do well with our family. We rescued him at 12 weeks from a bad situation and he was very nervous and scared. He used to jump just going on walks if another person or car would come by. We’ve exhausted our efforts with him but he needs a homebody. He’s great with my 1&2 yr old and their friends that come over. Not so open to adults. He’s jumpy with guests that are probably over 8. Not sure the extent of abuse just that he was an outside dog for his first 12 weeks so maybe something really bad happened. He’s fine on walks now, and really coming around but we have guests weekly and we feel guilty having him put in a room when people come over. He deserves someone that fits him better that isn’t really into a having guests over much! May have separation anxiety. He sits by the door when we leave and we watch him on camera just lay there. Will come with his food, bowls, leash/collar, bed, nail clippers, deshedding tool, & waterless shampoo.
