Hey everyone. I'm all over the place so I'm going to try and make this as concise as possible. I'm 31 and was in bands all throughout high school and my early 20s. Life happened, college, marriage, house purchases, etc and I got out of the music scene. Now that I'm settled and have time, I am looking to start playing again. Preferably, I am looking to do vocals in a metalcore type band. I can scream and sing, and influences are Underoath, The Devil Wears Prada, ETID, Marlene and the Sons of Disaster, etc. That being said, my "weapon" of choice aside from my voice is the bass. I took lessons as a youngen and can frequently be found noodling while I'm just chilling at home. I'd love to play with an established band, a new band, whatever. Rock, metal, punk, pop punk, metalcore, whatever. The only thing I have no interest in is country. Additionally like so many bassists before me I have dabbled in guitar and can hold my own as long as I'm not expected to take the next solo...lol. I grew up on 90s dad rock, everclear, third eye blind, gin blossoms, etc and would be happy to play with anyone who shares that kind of love. I know there is a lot here. Essentially what I'm saying is I just want to play again and am open to just about anything. I'm not looking to take over the world, but maybe play out a couple times a month, record some original stuff, etc. If you're like minded and low drama hit me up and we'll see what we come up with!
