Looking to create a solid rhythm section

Bass player- looking to jam with a drummer, see what comes up. I typically play off the cuff, improving and making up riffs and progressions. Looking to sync with a drummer so the rhythm is tight, at the same time leaving space for each. Add more instruments after the foundation is laid. My influences are Vulfpeck, Jamiroquai, Herbie Hancock, Rush. I have space for a jam if needed.
