Bass sub needed

Gigging band needs a pro bass player to come in without practice or without much practice and play gigs on short notice when our regular kick-ass bass player is out of town visiting family or has prior commitments or is sick. We play blues and classic rock with a couple country songs and can do Spanish if an audience member requests it. But we don't have any Spanish on our set list. If this is asking a lot, then let me make it worse..the gigs don't pay very much. You won't get wealthy doing this. However we have a lot of fun and you will be working with top notch musicians making awesome music. It's occasional, so it's not a big commitment. It's a fun opportunity to hang out with some great musicians and have a blast playing ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Hendrix, the Doors, The Rolling Stones, BB King, Neil Young, Prince, Ted Nugent, Grand Funk Railroad, The Who, Van Halen, George Thorogood, Men at Work, Eric Clapton, etc. We often get asked to fill in for bands that cancel their gigs on short notice. Our regular bass player might be working or may be unable to make it at such short notice. So we need someone who can fill in when the regular bass player can't make it. We might need someone Friday July 1st from 7-10 pm for a gig. Amateurs won't work. You have to be able to walk in and play a full night's worth of music with people you've never met and sound like you've been practicing with them for years. You really need to love music and we will love you for helping us out and becoming a regular sub for our bass player. Thanks !
