Description
We are looking for a temporary (or potentially forever) home for our cane corso puppy. He’s around 8ish months old and about 110 lbs. He is house and crate trained and a big love bug but he is very protective when he needs to be. We are currently homeless and living in a hotel and he is not doing well in the very small space. We also just had a baby (she’s not even a month old) and he’s not getting as much exercise as he’s used to on top of being in a tight space.
We’re not looking for someone to take him permanently unless he ends up doing way better without us. We’d like to be in contact regularly and schedule visits to see him.
He’d come with food (he’s on a special food due to being allergic to chicken and other random things), his crate, paced feeder bowl, treats, bone, toys, collar, gentle leader, and leash. He is neutered and fully vaccinated and not due for more shots till next May. If you have a dog we’d need to do a meet and greet, he is friendly but he doesn’t know how to behave due to not having socialization as a puppy (we adopted him a few months ago). He either needs a dog who will play just as rough as he does or ignore him completely (our senior boxer mix ignores him and they do great coexisting together).
You NEED to have experience with his breed or other extra large, stubborn, protection breeds. He is headstrong and needs someone who will lead him and not let him take advantage of them.
Please text if interested and I can send pictures. He is our baby and we will be VERY careful who he goes to.
