AUTOMOTIVE PORTER / DETAILER (CHICAGO / GOLD COAST) Looking for a Porter to service the Service and Parts Departments (AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP) We are looking for 2 porters for the service and parts departments. Main duties will be to greet the customers, moving vehicles, washing vehicles, picking up parts, picking up / dropping off customers. Cleaning the dealership ect…….. Porter duties include but not limited to: * Preparing vehicles to be serviced by putting down mats and plastic to protect interiors, making key tags and driving vehicles from the service lanes to the service stalls. * Washing, vacuuming and detailing vehicles * Moving vehicles not currently being serviced and keeping an orderly area so that vehicles can be easily found and moved. * Keeping the service drop-¬off area clean and free of debris. * Retrieving newly-¬serviced vehicles for customers. Requirements ARE A MUST: * Have a valid driver's license as well as a clean driving record is necessary for this position. * Be able to operate a manual transmission. * Insurable * Able to navigate around the city and suburbs. * Must look professional and be courteous our customers. * At least 19 years of age. *Mandatory Drug Testing Starting wage is $ 16.00 per hour. Working 20 - 40 hours per week.
