For the very affordable price of a $35 membership it makes you eligible to adopt any of the many (many) turtles and tortoises available for no fee adoption. However, your enclosure/yard must be compatible for their needs. San Diego Turtle & Tortoise Society has many healthy dinosaurs ready to go to their new homes. These big guys don't hibernate so they will need a heated tortoise house and LOTS of yard space to lumber around in. Blueprints are on the website.
