Mayer Designs, Inc. and LUMA Design Workshop, LLC A custom furniture & architectural fabrication shop is looking for a creative individual to join their finishing team. Applicant should have a background in wood, metal, and/or paint finishing. Must be motivated, detail oriented, and ready to learn a new trade. Willing to train the right person. Job Essentials: • Full/Part-time (30Hrs per wk), long-term employment. • Hours: 9am-5:30pm, Tuesday through Friday. • Pay: $25-$28 per hour to start (depending on experience). • (3) Month initial trial period prior to receiving benefits. • Benefits include: (2) weeks PTO (80 hrs.), Regence healthcare plan, Health Savings account, and Simple IRA plan. Job Requirements/Skills: - Must have 2 years minimum experience in wood, metal, and/or paint finishing. - Must be reliable, professional, organized and detail oriented. - Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks throughout the workday. - Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Must be able to lift 50-75lbs without physical restrictions. - Must know how to operate a variety of all common hand tools including DA orbital sander. - Must have excellent sanding skills. - Must be willing to perform a variety of tasks including sanding, metal finishing, and cleaning parts. - Position may include some furniture assembly and onsite installation.
