Lost Quilt

Events

Franklin Street, Bellingham WA

Description

Night before last our minivan (in our carport) was robbed - we hadn't yet unpacked my daughter's possessions after moving her home from grad school at PSU. The primary loss was a quilt her 89-year-old grandmother made for her. Quick detective work shows that this was dumped (along with her black suitcase, in which it was packed), close to the corner of Franklin and Virginia, where someone marked these items (and a cardboard box of miscellaneous stuff) as "Free." We recovered a few of her possessions from the "free" pile - but not her quilt. This has enormous sentimental value to her, and so if anyone happened to pick it up, we'd be grateful to have it back. Thank you.
