Lead guitarist needed for Alternative band.

ARE YOU NEW TO CHARLOTTESVILLE OR JUST WANT TO THROW A WRENCH AT THE CURRENT LOCAL SCENE? We are a band consisting of rhythm guitar, bass, drums and vocals looking to do something different. We are all strong players and are looking for a lead guitarist to do shows as soon as possible. Our previous lead was out of richmond and decided to pursue other things. The rest of us are still playing together. Now that things are opening up wed like to bring eclecticism to the scene and have fun. Some of us are local, some are from new york, florida, but we just know wed like to set ourselves aside from what's normally played locally. A lot of local music is the same here, we'd like to take our punk and alternative influences to rock the locals and make our own music as well. We'd like to create the ultimate indie rock band, Currently we are writing originals and covering bands like : Front bottoms, Saves the day, Nada surf, Queens of the stone age, The Smiths, Talking Heads, Smoking Popes, Manchester Orchestra, The Subways, The stooges, BRMC etc. I already have connections for venues since ive been bartending locally in charlottesville since i moved here 7 months ago. if you have the same idea as us or are new to the scene come play with us and lets get this project moving.
