Description

I THINK this tortoise might be a female... unsure but pics for you to make your own judgement. She is roughly 4-5 years old. I don't have current measurements but she's on the small side. I adopted her as a runt, she had some pyramiding of her shell already. Over the 2-3 years I've had her, she's become a lot more alert and active. She eats a ton, drinks from her water dish, self soaks (and also gets regular soaks in a bin), and cruises around her outdoor enclosure often. I am moving and would like to find her a good home that can give her more attention and space. She is currently in an aquarium setup to be as tort friendly as possible. She will need a bigger enclosure eventually though. Included with the tortoise are the following supplies: - large aquarium (unsure of gal. size but can get details) - retailed for around $150 - tort friendly substrate and moss - retails around $30 - two heat lamps with bulbs that have the appropriate UV etc for torts - retails around $50 - 1 heat pad that had been underneath the tank where her hide is - retails around $30 - a dark hide that was cut to fit her enclosure and she very much enjoys - water dish - outdoor enclosure - made of wood and chicken wire, was meant for rabbits, attached a wood board along bottom border so that she would not squeeze through or get stuck. Has a lid to keep her safe from predators when outside. enclosure is lightweight and easy to pick up and move around the lawn - retailed for around $150-200 - huge supply of tort friendly dried foods including but not limited to: mazuri pellets, timothy pellets, dried cactus, hibiscus flowers, moringa, mulberry, rose petals, dandelion leaves and much more. I will also gladly include a variety of fresh foods from our garden/home including aloe, fresh dandelion leaves, and other tort friendly leaves and flowers * a good home is a must! Asking for a rehoming fee of $500 OBO for the tortoise and all supplies listed above. She must go with all her supplies. This is a great opportunity for a new tort owner! It took me a lot of time and money to gather all the appropriate items for her care. I've done the hard work for you and will help ensure that she has a smooth transition into her new home. pick up in Green Brook, NJ 08812 - willing to meet within a reasonable distance for the right home
