*** MUST HAVE A WORKING BACKGROUND IN THE DIESEL / HEAVY EQUIPMENT FIELD *** This is not a high paced, stressful position. Shop located in North Phoenix. Ability to work with minimal supervision required. Low key, Mom and Pop construction company, looking for a mechanic with a willingness to work with their employees. Most of current employees have been here 20+ years. Needs to be able to keep shop and supplies clean, be organized, and motivated to do quality work. Understanding/ability to diagnose various systems and components commonly found on heavy equipment. For example: hydraulic systems, and how they function / fuel systems and their components. Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions. Need to have a can do and safety attitude, who wants to be part of a great team. Needs reliable transportation, be able to perform physically demanding work -sometimes in the outdoors. Paid Holidays, Medical and Dental
