WANTED: Guitarist for Classic Rock/Rockin' Blues Band

We're an established, experienced Classic Rock/Rockin' Blues Band that plays both covers & originals & we are seeking to add a 2nd guitarist to the mix that is a quality player of both rhythm & lead guitar. Presently there are 4 stage members plus we have a sound engineer. We are a tight knit group & we're not just looking for anyone, we're looking for a band mate whose voice will be heard as you share your thought's, opinions & ideas. We're looking for someone with good character & integrity. Someone financially stable & certainly someone that knows the "Gig" ropes as we are a 2 to 3 time per month gigging band with show duration's lasting on rare occasions 2 hrs but rather generally they are 3 to 4 hours & that does not count set up & tear down. You put in that kind of time & commitment for 2 reasons: 1- your a musician & it's ingrained within you & you just don't want to play in the garage. 2- your hooked up with not only what you feel are damn good musicians but they are also those same traits we asked you to be. Character, integrity, financially stable, along with being punctual, courteous & helpful. Bottom line when you're with the right group of guys it all gets easier & way more fun. If you sing backing vocals, harmony or some lead that's a big bonus. It's not a necessity but it is a bonus. We'll play up to 8 to 10 of our original tunes during the full say 9:30 to 1:30 shows & we'll decrease that number a bit during the shorter shows. Covers come from artist's such as: The Allman Bros, Bad Co, Collective Soul, AC/DC, Bush, The Cult, Tom Petty, Skynyrd, Foo Fighters, ZZ Top & many more along with what you may bring to the table. The list is ever growing. We've got quality individual gig gear along with quality PA including lights. We have a lower NE rehearsal facility in one of the members homes & once we've all put in the necessary time to get you up to speed we typically rehearse on either a Sat or Sun aft. The grand plan is 2 or 3 gigs per month, if 2 then a rehearsal one weekend & always at least one weekend off. We all have a social media presence to plug the band, along with a specific Band FB pg & website. You'll need that as well. We'll be able to supply you with plenty of pics & video when we speak to verify our bonafides & we'll need the same from you. We'd also ask that you be near a computer when we talk so we can better share info with one another to determine on both sides whether it warrants getting in a room & playing.
