Kent Services is very excited to have the opportunity to hire Dispatch agents to work along side our 24/7 dispatch center, team members. This position will report out of our New York City office.
Starting pay is set at $18.00/hour to $20.00/hour depending on experience, with plans for a 90 day performance review to discuss a fully operational hourly rate increase.
Available shifts:
0800-1600 Saturday and Sunday
1600-0000 7 days a week
0000-0800 7 days a week
This includes shifts in both weekdays and weekends. We are happy to discuss schedule options that will work for the entire team and it's effectiveness.
Dispatchers are expected to do the following (not limited to)
Manage schedule changes during dispatch hours.
Assist employees who call for help when clocking in, clocking out, calling out, etc.
Answer after hours or weekend client calls, requesting for assistance.
Complete shift reports necessary to inform team leaders of shift activity.
Proactively use escalation communication process as needed.
Treat everyone with respect by delivering great interactions with all.
Prerequisites:
Authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Experience as a dispatcher is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years in a customer service environment and especially as a shift lead or assistant manager.
