Hi, I'm a guitar player/singer/multi-instrumentalist looking for a drummer to play music along the lines of Sleep, Hendrix, Uncle Acid, early ZZ-Top, Peter Green, Witch, Cream, Psychedelic-era Beatles/Stones, etc. Trying to find a hard-hitting but versatile and skilled drummer that enjoys this kind of style and feels at home quickly and creatively locking into riffs. I have about an album's worth of new song material written at the moment, the goal would be to get together, rehearse and record songs for now at my rehearsal space in downtown Waltham. There is a nice vintage drum set available for use there as well as a full recording setup with analog tape and Pro Tools. Live shows could definitely come down the line if the fit is right, I have a lot of connections to venues around the Northeast from my old band. Looking for folks in the age range of 20s-30s, I am in my mid thirties for reference. I'm happy to send along recordings of my prior band to anyone interested, thanks!
