JOIN US FOR THE NEXT VOLUNTEER & BEER Saturday July 2nd 3:30-6pm @ Black Mountain Community Garden • make new friends • learn gardening skills • contribute to local food security 3:30-6:00pm –– Join us as we embark on some necessary weeding, planting, mulching, fertilizing, and more. Just show up, and we'll provide all necessary tools and training. Please wear comfortable shoes, clothes that can get dirty, and a sun hat. Oh, and be sure to bring a water bottle too! No RSVP or experience necessary, just come join us in the garden at 99 White Pine Drive, Black Mountain. 6:00pm –– After our time together in the garden, we’ll head over to Black Mountain Brewing where all of the day’s volunteers will gather to socialize and receive a free beverage. A food truck and live music will also be at the brewery until 8pm. This event is a collaboration with PubCorps, an organization that partners with area nonprofits to offer a free drink and a chance for folks to mingle, connect, and build relationships with other local volunteers that share similar interests and values.
