Junk Removal Tech: Junk Shot of Northern Virginia is hiring for full and part time junk removal techs/helpers in the Fairfax and Arlington areas! Junk/Waste Removal technicians are responsible for collecting and removing waste/junk, haul waste and recyclable materials for further disposal. Typical job duties are reporting data, customer service, operates equipment while collecting waste, following the designated route for the day, communicates with dispatchers, collecting refuse and reporting to supervisors, as needed. Essential Functions  Removing, hauling and disposing unwanted material from Single Family Residences, Businesses, Apartment Communities, etc.  Loading and lifting, consolidating debris into a dump truck, which is 4 feet off the ground  Marketing and cold calling to potential client companies and apartment communities (When time permits in between jobs / on slower days) Competencies  Lift and load 50-100 pounds of waste with another team member  Customer Focused, Business Growth Mindset  Equipment Maintenance / Truck Inspection  Communication Proficiency  Time Management  Assist Driver as needed with navigation and job photos / forms. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, lift, talk and listen. The employee is frequently required to use their body to lift junk/waste.
