My mailbox needs to be freshly secured to the ground. It is a single piece, metal (possibly cast iron?) post and box. The post is hollow part of the way up and the base of the post has 4 holes for bolts.
It was previously mounted to a piece of concrete that had 4 bolts coming out of it and nuts on the top side to hold the post to the concrete. This looks to be a poor design, as the box has now fallen over.
I am not sure what the right solution is, which is why I am posting the job on CL. If you know how to get this done where the post will be secure for a few decades, please message me with an estimate. Best estimate / experience wins the job. Thank you.
