Pest control technician Bush Pest Control, main office is at: 10 Oasis Drive, Edwardsville, IL one mile east of 255 on 143 Bush’s Pest Control has been a family run business with a great reputation for over 55 years. The pest control technician will not be required to have any pest control experience. We would require someone to have good customer service skills, be organized, professional, personal and take pride in their work. If you like being busy and working a combination of inside and outside, this can be the job for you. A normal day would be coming to the office at 8 am to pick up a service vehicle at our Edwardsville location and servicing 8 to 10 clients and then returning to the office at the end of the workday at about 4-5 pm. The job will range from treating various types of establishments for ants, termites, mice, bed bugs, mosquitos, etc. There is on the job training and we will pay for any certifications (3) classes that you pass. Each time you receive a certification, you receive an additional 50 cent an hour in pay. A criminal background check will also be performed. A good driving record a must. Hours of work are 8:00 am to 4:00-5:00 pm Monday thru Friday. Some Saturday’s and overtime is possible. Pay rate is $15.00 an hour and based on performance an additional $1.00 an hour in 90 days. One week vacation after a year. holiday’s a year: 6 Holidays paid Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day. No health insurance available at this time.
