JESUS SHAPED DISCIPLESHIP AND MISSION WORKSHOP Yakima Washington | September 24 2022 JESUS is our example for discipleship and mission so we define discipleship as training people to live and lead like Jesus in an increasingly post-Christian culture. Put another way, we seek to empower, encourage, and equip people like you to live a Jesus shaped life in Jesus shaped communities that multiply into Jesus shaped movements. 3DM invests in and guides leaders from every context - established churches and church plants; micro churches and house churches; parachurch organizations and denominations; businesses and households; individuals and families – training them to build a discipling culture that produces a missional movement with the power to change the world. You will discover how our framework and tools for discipleship and mission can be applied in every church model and context. Workshops give you an opportunity to test-drive our training process. Explore everything we do in Learning Communities such as worship, teaching, training, coaching, and strategic planning. We will help you and your team discover how our framework and tools for discipleship and mission can be applied in every church model and context. You and your team will get a chance to experience: - Teaching that will frame discipleship and mission in a new light for both the gathered church and the scattered church - Training to help you apply discipleship and mission in your context- Effective vehicles for relational discipleship and mission such as huddle and family on mission (missional communities & micro church) - A taste of what it’s like to be part of a 3DM Learning Community (a two-year journey of culture change that starts with you and your team) What will the workshop be like? During this in-person workshop, you will have a chance to hear teachings about discipleship and mission and how we are practically seeing those things worked out in different church contexts. There will be time for Q&A as well as coaching & consultations for you and your team. Who is the workshop for? Anyone who would like to come, but we strongly encourage you to experience it with at least one other person – your spouse or a friend. If possible, bring a team so you can discuss the workshop along the way. It’s great to have senior leaders there so that together the whole team is exposed to these ideas.
