Speech & Swim group sessions help your child build confidence in and out of the water by simultaneously working on being better understood by peers and adults while making friends and learning to swim. Working towards your goals is fun when it is disguised as play. Join us for Speech & Swim because when it comes to speech therapy, your child deserves more than just treading water. Camp Sessions: Designed to help students with errors in sound production (most commonly /l/, /s/, /r/), stuttering, or mild needs in expressive and social language. Speech & Swim formulates groups of no more than 5 swimmers based on applicant age and communication need to increase peer modeling, optimal communication and swim progress. Camp is held four consecutive days for 40 minutes each day. Group age ranges from 18 months to 13 years Individual Sessions : Private sessions are open to all, but optimal for swimmers who need more individualized attention in communication and swimming. Focus can include increasing spoken language, following directions, attending, safely shaping impulsive behaviors. Available on a weekly schedule, but space is limited.
