In addition to our Doctor of Chiropractic, we offer a Doctor of Acupuncture with a specialization in Chinese Herbal Medicine, Masters' offerings in Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Functional and Integrative Nutrition, and Integrative Care, and undergraduate offerings in massage therapy, health sciences, and allied health professions - medical assisting, medical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, radiation therapy, and radiologic technology. Position Information: The Custodial Lead is a working lead responsible for assigned janitorial duties while planning, assigning and providing oversight to the evening custodial staff to ensure a clean and safe environment at NWHSU. This position is accountable for planning, scheduling, coordinating work assignments, and other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Facilities Director and provides work direction to the evening custodial staff. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible opportunity. This is an evening position (3pm-11:30pm, Mon-Fri) with occasional weekend requirements. Work Location: Bloomington, MN on-site. Duties: - Assures that all assigned areas are adequately staffed with properly trained personal. - Audits work of and assists custodial staff where needed. - Performs standard janitorial duties such as dusting, detailing, vacuuming, sanitizing, and cleaning restrooms, common areas, stairwells and windows. - Issues, manages, and orders cleaning supplies. - Attends meetings and training sessions, as needed. - Provides staffing coverage for janitorial staff. What you need to have? - High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) - Three (3) years of progressively responsible custodial work experience, preferably in an academic or health care setting - Floor care experience (such as stripping, waxing, and buffing)required. - Two (2) years of lead or supervisory experience preferred. - Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly. Specialized Knowledge/Skills: - Knowledge of cleaning methods and materials and ability to operate various cleaning equipment - Good customer service, communication, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills - Demonstrated ability to conduct custodial inspections and provide training as needed - Ability to walk throughout the campus - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to create reports - Ability to maintain positive working relationships with staff/faculty, students, and visitors and collaborate cooperatively within a team.
