Join us for an exciting opportunity to explore art in a different medium than the usual paper, pencil, paint, canvas manner. We will be exploring compositions of the students' design through pyrography, which is the art of decorating wood and other materials freely with your hand by using a wood-burning pen. Pyrography means "writing with fire" and originated from the Han dynasty in China and was later used in Ancient Egypt and Africa. There are specific challenges that come with the medium which the teacher will help the students overcome. By the end of the camp, students will have gained these extraordinary new skills. Please send a healthy snack and lunch with your camper.Please pick up your child on time when camp ends or at the end of the selected aftercare option chosen.
