The Keegan Ferrell Trio features Keegan Ferrell (piano and vocals), Ryan McSweeney (drums) and Aaron Kim (bass). Keegan Ferrell is from Fort Wayne, IN and currently lives in Nashville, TN where he works full-time as a producer and session musician. Ryan McSweeney is from Long Island, NY, and is a member of Glenn Miller Orchestra, as well as recipient of the Zildjian scholarship. Aaron Kim is from River Edge, NJ, and is an endorsed artist by Phil Jones Bass Amps, Muckelroy Bass, and LaBella Strings. The trio met while studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. The trio enjoys performing unique takes on old-school classics from the likes of Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. Improvisation is an integral part of their performance style. As the audience, you will be treated to modern renditions of classic tunes, as well as real-time musical exploration and invention.
