Bassist / Vocalist - in a couple of projects; both interesting but moving very s-l-o-w-l-y. I have written a lot of material, most of which will probably not see the light of day in either project. My favorite bands are a blend of musical ideas and voices, more about diversity and equality than about icons and backing musicians and people who just look like me. I love rock, funk, ska, jazz, folk, world, acoustic, electric, electronic - you name it and I have probably played and performed it. I like mixing originals and covers to give new audiences a mix of ideas as well as their favorites. I like all of us sharing the tasks that a busy successful band develops to keep us active and relevant to people who then show up and support us because they want to see us play again. So what do you want to do? Let's talk. I would like to get this moving, so skilled / experienced / dedicated musicians are preferred. East Bay is best for me, traffic and gas prices being what they are but willing to travel for the right situation.
