Mover for Home Staging (Eastside / Seattle Areas) Compensation: Starting at $25 per hour based on qualifications Employment type: Full-time As we are in full gear for the season, we are looking for great personalities for our team. Mover position available to work with a home staging design team moving furnishings into residential homes for sale on the Eastside, Seattle & Surrounding areas. Our warehouse is located in Kirkland near the 405 Fwy, where the operation center for prepping stagings and de-stagings are fulfilled. This is a Full Time job opportunity. Some short days, other days may be 8-12 hours long. For our team, we are looking to fill positions in our company as we grow and expand. We are looking for Furniture Movers. Please reach out to us, we are looking for someone with the following characteristics: The Basics ● Likes physical work and can manage lifting and carrying furniture up and down stairs ● An athletic individual, who will enjoy a free "gym" with climbing stairs, loading and unloading boxes, furniture, art, area rugs. Placing furniture in position per instruction within home, assembling furniture in a fast pace environment. ● Someone who prefers a team mentality because it’s more exciting to create a project together ● A fun, loving person who likes to joke and has a positive, solution based mindset (aka, no complainers) ● Someone interested in a steady paycheck who's willing to work Monday - Friday with varying hours. MOVER POSITION EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: ~ Moving Experience ~ Truck Driving Experience Helpful but not necessary ~ Organizational skills a must along with ability to multi-task and self-direct ~ High energy- Fast Paced- hard worker ~ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or more. ~ Professional & Personable- will meet clients periodically ~ Retail Experience a plus ~ Perfect Driving Record ~ Ability to use your own vehicle to and from your home, warehouse and stagings ~ Physical job - moving items up and down stairs ~ Exceptional verbal communication skills ~ Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks ~ Ability to be patient and handle last-minute changes ~ Detail oriented and conscientious attention to merchandise ~ Thorough follow up on all directives ~ Computer literate RESPONSIBILITIES: ~ Moving furnishings inventory, packing staging furnishings into containers and installation of those items in the home for sale. ~ De-staging homes when they are sold, packing all items for transport and unpacking and restocking at the warehouse and ensuring that all inventory has been restocked. ~ Working in a warehouse stocking shelves and cleaning up in an efficient, timely manner. ~ Possibly driving a truck for moving heavy furniture items and all of the accessories for larger stagings. ~ Must have ability to be flexible on hours If you know anyone who fits ALL of the criteria above, please have them send their resume, email address and phone number to me directly at [email protected] with the subject line: MOVER FOR HOME STAGING
