This year, we're going to spend some time in God's beautiful creation, exploring and discovering the wonderful things around us that God has mad. Palos Heights has an amazing amount of natural resources that we will be using, including a morning at a local nature area, and a hike through a local forest preserve. Because of this, we will be asking parents to fill out a permission slip for their children attending so that we have all emergency contact information that we may need. We will not be transporting the children to these locations, so we will have a drop off location each day which will be communicated to you closer to the time of the event (all locations will be in the Palos local area!). The cost of attending Camp Discovery is $20 per child. This is to cover the cost of the activities and a Camp Discovery T-Shirt for each attendee. To make it as streamlined as possible, please bring your payment (cash or check) on the first day of Camp at the planned location. This event will be limited to 60 children, ages 3-10. Children ages 11 and up are welcome to volunteer, we have 10 spots available for tween and teen volunteers. Please contact Mrs. Kelsie Ciraulo at [email protected] to register a volunteer.
