DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Material Expeditor is directly accountable to the Manager of Stores. The Stores Agent is responsible for the procurement, routing, accountability, and control of all rotable parts, expendable material, and other aircraft parts to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained including control and maintenance of serial number tracking system for all rotable parts. Maintain a clean and presentable Stockroom and Stores Department. Duties may include but not limited to: 1. Maintaining liaison with workload planning, Maintenance Control, and Line Facilities, to ensure parts requests are handled in a timely manner. 2. Ensuring Manager of Stores and higher authority is advised of any aircraft departure delay or cancellation caused by parts availability. Also advise Management higher authority of any aircraft incident requiring multiple parts and extensive downtime. 3. Ensuring accurate coordination and turnover of all material requests. 4. Responsible for communicating shift status to Skylease I, Inc. Maintenance Control and Manager of Stores as required. 5. Conducting daily turnover briefings relative to active AOG’s deferred items or other issues that require attention. 6. Representing the Stores Department in meetings as required. 7. Responsible for A.O.G. and critical material support of maintenance system wide. 8. Making recommendations to Maintenance Control to determine the most effective and expeditious methods on a transaction basis to provide material for A.O.G. and critical dispatch situations. 9. Responsible for component requirements to satisfy MEL and FAK item replacement. 10. Fulfilling all material requests for the DMIs. 11. Monitoring components in the flight spares kits (FAK) and maintaining the required service level for the kits. 12. Ensuring timely return of parts to airlines and suppliers to minimize cost incurred by Skylease. 13. Coordinating the removal and return of parts with planning and maintenance. 14. Assisting in setting up of packaging and transportation of all aircraft parts and components, including engines. 15. Maintain Good Housekeeping Practices. 16. Performing other functions as required by the Manager of Stores. Requirements: -Speak, Understand and Write English -Spanish (a plus) -High school Diploma, GED or equivalent -Able to work flexible hours including weekends and holiday -Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email) -Lift 50 Lbs. -Must have a clean record in order to acquire airport ID, including Driving Record -Folk Lift Driving ( a plus) -Quantum Knowledge is a plus ( if not the company will provide the training) -Stand for extended period of time -All other training will be supplied by company
