Old Timey will play an outdoor jazz concert at Schweikher House. Guests can bring their chairs, blankets, coolers (BYOB) & snacks to the historic Schweikher House in Schaumburg and enjoy some Friday night jazz on the lawn. Parking is limited, carpooling is encouraged! Attendees may arrive between 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm, explore the grounds, set up chairs and blankets, enjoy a beverage, get comfortable and ready for live, in-person music. Old Timey will play from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Kasey Foster, leader of Old Timey, is an actor, singer, producer, choreographer, creator, and puppeteer. Foster recently performed at the Goodman Theater in The Notebooks of Leonardo Da Vinci and is also a Lookingglass Theater Ensemble Member since 2017. Foster has created over forty original works in Chicago, and produces two annual series called Dance Tribute and The ACTual Show. As a choreographer, Kasey has recently worked with Actors Gymnasium, The House Theatre Chicago, Lifeline, and Trap Door Theatre. Tunes may range from Lawrence Welk, Theresa Brewer, Perry Como, Willie Dixon, Dave Bartholomew, The Mills Brothers, Rosemary Clooney, Les Paul and Mary Ford, Hank Williams Sr., and Irving Fields. In the case of inclement weather, the concert will be postponed to another date. Details to follow.
